Louise Pitt

Ms. Pitt serves as Managing Director at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. and has been its European Managing Director of Asset Management since October 2005.

Ms. Pitt covers global banks and finance companies, focusing on both the credit and relative value of the companies across all classes of senior and subordinated cash and CDS products and also covers the United States investment grade corporates.

She previously focused on the European banks and insurance companies during the six years. Ms. Pitt joined Goldman Sachs in August 2002 and covered European banks and insurers until March 2004, when she moved to cover the global sector.

Prior to this, Ms. Pitt worked in trading and research at J.P. Morgan. Previously, she served as a Research Analyst at Crédit Suisse AG, Research Division. Ms. Pitt is also chair of the Board of Directors of Music for Autism. She graduated from Bristol University in the UK with a B.A. Honours degree, with Distinction, in Hispanic and Latin American studies in 1996. During her time there, Ms. Pitt studied the Spanish Financial System at the Universidad de Menendez Pelayo in Santander, Spain.
